Joseph Dewey è il figlio di mezzo di quattro figli, nati dalla madre Christine. Nato e cresciuto a Tunbridge Wells, nel Kent, Joseph si trasferisce poi a Londra.
La passione di Joseph per la recitazione e lo spettacolo inizia in una 'Saturday School', la Yew Tree Theatre School, alla tenera età di 8 anni. Ma il vero percorso di formazione inizia quando viene accettato nell'acclamata 'The BRIT School'. Qui Joseph studia danza e recitazione (GCSE, 'A Levels').
Dopo aver completato 4 anni alla BRIT School, Joseph prosegue il suo percorso formativo al 'Bird College', dove studia tutte e tre le discipline (recitazione, danza e canto) per tre anni. Si laurea nel luglio del 2009.

Joseph Dewey was born on the 6th of April 1988 in
Pembury. Joseph is the middle child of four children to his mother, Christine Dewey. He was born and raised in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, and has since moved to London.
Josephs passion for performing started at a Saturday school, Yew Tree Theatre School, at the tender age of 8. Formal training then started when he was accepted into the acclaimed school, The BRIT School. Here he studied dance and acting along with his GCSEs' and A Levels'.
After completing 4 years at The BRIT School, Joseph furthered his training at Bird College where he studied all three disciplines (acting, dance and singing) for three years. He graduated with a degree in July of 2009....
