E' SCOMPARSO PREMATURAMENTE BRUNO KIRBY L'INTERPRETE DI 'HARRY TI PRESENTO SALLY'

- L'attore BRUNO KIRBY, temprato interprete in "Harry ti presento Sally" e "Scappo dalla citta' - La vita, l'amore e le vacche" e molti altri film, e' morto all'eta' di 57 anni, ha detto sua moglie, martedi 15 agosto 2006. Kirby e' deceduto lunedi a Los Angeles da complicazioni della leucemia, secondo la dichiarazione fatta dalla moglie Lynn Sellers. Era stato recentemente diagnosticato con questa malattia.
"Siamo incredibilmente grati per tutto il supporto che abbiamo ricevuto dai fans di Bruno e dai colleghi che hanno ammirato e rispettato il suo lavoro negli ultimi 30 anni" ha detto sua moglie "Lo spirito di Bruno continuera' a vivere non soltanto nel gran numero di film e spettacoli per la televisione ma anche attraverso le vite degli individui che lui ha toccato attraverso la sua vita"
Kirby era forse noto nel suo ruolo, quale controparte di Billy Crystal nelfilm del 1989 "Harry ti presento Sally" e nel film del 1991 "Scappo dalla citta' - La vita, l'amore e le vacche".
Tra gli altri suoi film figurano "Good Morning Vietnam", "Il Padrino: parte II" e "Donnie Brasco". Piu' recentemente ha interpretato Phil Rubenstein nella serie "Entourage" trasmessa da HBO.
BRUNO KIRBY, veteran character actor who costarred in "When Harry Met Sally," "City Slickers" and many other films, has died at age 57, his wife said Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2006. Kirby died Monday in Los Angeles from complications related to leukemia, according to a statement from his wife, Lynn Sellers. He had recently been diagnosed with the disease.
"We are incredibly grateful for the outpouring of support we have received from Bruno's fans and colleagues who have admired and respected his work over the past 30 years," his wife said. "Bruno's spirit will continue to live on not only in his rich body of film and television work but also through the lives of individuals he has touched throughout his life."
Kirby was perhaps best known for his roles opposite Billy Crystal in 1989's "When Harry Met Sally" and 1991's "City Slickers."
Other film credits included "Good Morning, Vietnam," "The Godfather: Part II" and "Donnie Brasco." More recently, he played Phil Rubenstein on the HBO series "Entourage."
