29/12/2012 - Il settimo Festival Internazionale del Film di Roma ha deciso di assegnare il PREMIO ALLA CARRIERA a QUENTIN TARANTINO. Il regista, sceneggiatore, attore e produttore americano, premio Oscar® per PULP FICTION, autore di straordinari successi come LE IENE, JACKIE BROWN, KILL BILL VOL. 1, KILL BILL VOL. 2 e Bastardi senza gloria riceverà il riconoscimento il prossimo 4 gennaio nell’ambito della serata di ANTEPRIMA del nuovo film da lui scritto e diretto, DJANGO UNCHAINED, interpretato da JAMIE FOXX, LEONARDO DI CAPRIO, CHRISTOPH WALTZ, SAMUEL L. JACKSON E KERRY WASHINGTON. DJANGO UNCHAINED uscirà nelle sale italiane il prossimo 17 gennaio, distribuito da Warner Bros. Pictures Italia. Sarà il grande compositore ENNIO MORRICONE, una tra le personalità del nostro cinema più amate dal regista statunitense, a consegnare il premio.

Sinossi:

Ambientato nel Sud degli Stati Uniti due anni prima dello scoppio della Guerra Civile, Django Unchained vede protagonista il premio Oscar® Jamie Foxx nel ruolo di Django, uno schiavo la cui brutale storia con il suo ex padrone, lo conduce faccia a faccia con il Dott. King Schultz (il premio Oscar® Christoph Waltz), il cacciatore di taglie di origine tedesca. Schultz è sulle tracce dei fratelli Brittle, noti assassini, e solo l’aiuto di Django lo porterà a riscuotere la taglia che pende sulle loro teste. Il poco ortodosso Schultz assolda Django con la promessa di donargli la libertà una volta catturati i Brittle – vivi o morti.
Il successo dell’operazione induce Schultz a liberare Django, i due uomini scelgono di non separarsi, anzi Schultz sceglie di partire alla ricerca dei criminali più ricercati del Sud con Django al suo fianco. Affinando le vitali abilità di cacciatore, Django resta concentrato su un solo obiettivo: trovare e salvare Broomhilda (Kerry Washington), la moglie che aveva perso tempo prima, a causa della sua vendita come schiava.
La loro ricerca li conduce infine da Calvin Candie (il candidato all’Oscar® Leonardo DiCaprio), proprietario del “Candyland”, una famigerata piantagione. Esplorando la proprietà e accampando scuse, Django e Schultz suscitano i sospetti di Stephen (il candidato all’Oscar® Samuel L. Jackson), lo schiavo di fiducia di Candie. Le loro intenzioni vengono smascherate e un’infida macchinazione si abbatte sulle loro teste. Se Django e Schultz intendono fuggire con Broomhilda, si vedranno costretti a scegliere tra l’indipendenza e la solidarietà, tra il sacrificio e la sopravvivenza…
