ASPETTANDO LA NOTTE DEGLI OSCAR 2006 (IL PROSSIMO 5 MARZO), ECCO LA LUNGA LISTA DEI NOMINATI

Se 'Brokeback Mountain' sbaraglia la cornucopia di nominations made in USA (con ben otto candidature), dopo la passata gloriosa conquista di Roberto Benigni, l'ITALIA gongola di nuovo per CRISTINA COMENCINI ('LA BESTIA NEL CUORE')

01/02/2006 - La redazione di "celluloidportraits.com" aveva già scommesso su Cristina Comencini dopo aver letto il libro La bestia nel cuore che ha preceduto la trasposizione in celluloide, già presentata alla '62a edizione della Mostra Internazionale d'Arte Cinematografica' al Lido di Venezia, nonchè vincitrice della 'Coppa Volpi' per la ‘Miglior Interprete Femminile’, premio consegnato all’attrice protagonista Giovanna Mezzogiorno.

Adesso, a seguito di questa Nomination' all'Oscar come 'Miglior Film Straniero', che evidenzia l'ulteriore considerazione rivolta a La bestia nel cuore, questa volta sul piano internazionale, è con grande soddisfazione che la nostra redazione rincara la dose, facendo il tifo più che mai per 'la grande corsa'.
Se la Comencini riuscirà a portarsi a casa l'ambita statuetta, sarà una vittoria più che meritata: un grande regalo che la Comencini fa al cinema italiano oltre che, naturalmente, alla sua carriera di scrittrice e cineasta sempre più apprezzata. E questo proprio quando, da troppo tempo, ormai, il cinema italiano si deve per lo più appellare a rare perle come queste per ricordarsi che anche lei in un remoto e glorioso passato produceva il suo cinema d'autore.

Chi non l'avesse ancora fatto, può intanto acquistare il DVD del film, dove sopravvive una sequenza-chiave tagliata dalla versione divulgata con distribuzione nelle sale cinematografiche: la cosiddetta sequenza dell'acqua che inonda il treno proprio quando alla protagonista si sono rotte le acque ed è ormai in procinto di partorire. Una sorta di visione-metafora questa inondazione che sommerge i tragici ricordi familiari riesumati negli ultimi tempi dalla protagonista che la nascita del bambino, la purezza per eccellenza, laverà via, pur lasciando cicatrici profonde. Quanto basta per ricominciare da capo.
