SAG Awards 2016: Susan Sarandon and Eva Amurri Martino Have Mother/Daughter Midriff Moment

31/01/2016 - Susan Sarandon and daughter Eva Amurri Martino proved that the apple doesn’t fall far from the super-stylish tree tonight on the Screen Actors Guild Awards red carpet wearing ensembles that both featured a matching small, triangular cutout of midriff.

Both mother and daughter wore bold, color-blocked looks featuring the aforementioned hint of abs and a healthy dose of cleavage. Eva opted for an Yves Klein-blue gown by Gabriela Cadena with wraparound detailing at the bust, daring, triangular cutouts throughout the torso, and the signature style element of the evening, as Sarah Hyland would put it, an “Angelina Jo-leg” slit (shown off to great affect with her Casadei heels).

Susan, on the other hand, went for something a touch more demure, yet still very sexy, letting her black bralette top peek out ever so slightly from the top of her white tuxedo blazer and matching loose-cut trousers (all Max Mara). The actress finished off her look with a pair of low-heeled nude peep-toe shoes, a nude clutch, and a handful of gold rings.
