IL NUOVO CONTRATTO PER LA CELLULOIDE DI SIDNEY LUMET. Il regista guarda al futuro con il film ‘Getting Out’

- SIDNEY LUMET ha firmato un accordo con il ‘Funky Buddha Group’ per finanziare i suoi prossimi due film, con un opzione per un terzo. La casa di produzione con cui Lumet ha condiviso la sua collaborazione più recente per la direzione di Before the Devil Knows You're Dead, film con cui la ‘ThinkFilm’ è uscita due settimane fa.
In base a questo accordo, Lumet muove la sua prima pedina con il film sulla fuga dalla prigione Getting Out, basato su una sua originale sceneggiatura. La storia si incentra su un uomo disperato alle prese con la conquista della libertà (...). L’inizio delle riprese è programmato per Gennaio.
Paul Parmar del ‘Funky Buddha Group’ lo produrrà insieme a Michael Cerenzie.

LUMET SIGNS FILM DEAL. Director moves forward on 'Getting Out'
SIDNEY LUMET has inked a deal with 'Funky Buddha Group' to finance his next two films, with an option for a third.
Shingle most recently collaborated with Lumet on the helmer's Before the Devil Knows You're Dead which ‘ThinkFilm’ opened two weeks ago.
Under the deal, Lumet will move forward first on the prison breakout movie Getting Out, based on his original script. Story centers on a man desperate to regain his freedom while entangled in deadly head games with his prison psychiatrist and the woman he desires.
Shooting is scheduled to begin in January.
Funky Buddha's Paul Parmar will produce alongside Michael Cerenzie.
Parmar and Cerenzie also worked together on ThinkFilm's My Sexiest Year and the upcoming Tony Kaye-helmed Black Water Transit. Cerenzie recently launched a partnership with Christine Peters' CP Prods., which has a first-look deal at Paramount Pictures.
