PRIME INDISCREZIONI SU 'INDIANA JONES IV' DA RAY WINSTONE: 'CRYSTAL SKULL' UNISCE AZIONE, MOMENTI SINCERI, (CHE VENGONO DAL CUORE) E COMMEDIA IN EGUAL MISURA
12/11/2007
WINSTONE: ‘CRYSTAL SKULL’ MIXES ACTION, HEARTFELT MOMENTS, COMEDY IN EQUAL AMOUNTS
RAY WINSTONE said in a recent interview published in the “MTV Movies Blog that Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull mixes action, heartfelt moments and comedy in equal amounts. He added: "If it all works to plan, which I'm sure it will, it starts off with a gallop, and [the script] just gets quicker and quicker and quicker. It's one hell of a story, actually." As for the fun he insisted that the humor of the film isn't necessarily dependent on Indy delivering "I'm too old for this"- type of lines after an action scene.
Winstone admitted that it's a film he never ever thought he'd be making. Seeing the iconic fedora and whip had given him chills "without even realizing I was going to be like that." As for Harrison, Winstone said that he can hit a spot on a door with the whip and that he "runs around like a 17-year-old."
As for his own character in the movie, Winstone described it as a sidekick character along the same lines as Short Round in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. Winstone was also full of praise for Shia LaBeouf, who he claimed has brought the Indy world a welcomed sense of improvement..
