    BAFTA 2011 - 'IL DISCORSO DEL RE' DOMINA CON BEN 14 NOMINATIONS. LO TALLONANO 'BLACK SWAN' (12) E 'INCEPTION' (9)/ 'KING'S SPEECH' REIGNS AT BAFTA. 'BLACK SWAN', 'INCEPTION' also frontrunners

    18/01/2011 - LONDON - THE KING'S SPEECH/IL DISCORSO DEL RE reigned supreme with 14 nominations as this year's BAFTA shortlist was unveiled on Tuesday.
    BLACK SWAN was nominated in 12 categories while INCEPTION garnered nine noms, 127 HOURS and TRUE GRIT (IL GRINTA) took eight noms each. THE SOCIAL NETWORK took six noms.

    Pics up for best film are BLACK SWAN, INCEPTION," THE KING'S SPEECH/IL DISCORSO DEL RE, THE SOCIAL NETWORK and TRUE GRIT (IL GRINTA).

    JAVIER BARDEM (Biutiful), JEFF BRIDGES (True Grit), JAMES FRANCO (127 Hours), COLIN FIRTH (The King's Speech) and JESSE EISENBERG (The Social Network) are all in the race for 'BEST ACTOR' while ANNETTE BENING (The Kids Are All Right), JULIANNE MOORE (The Kids Are All Right), NATALIE PORTMAN (Black Swan), NOOMI RAPACE ("The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo") and HAILEE STEINFELD (True Grit) all battle it out for 'BEST ACTRESS'.

    In the 'OUTSTANDING BRITISH FILM CATEGORY', "The Arbor," "Exit Through the Gift Shop," "Four Lions," "Monsters" and "Skeletons" are up against each other.

    In the 'FOREIGN-LANGUAGE CATEGORY' are Mexico's Biutiful, Sweden's "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo," Italy's "I Am Love," Gaul's "Of Gods and Men" and Argentina's "The Secret in their Eyes."

    The AWARDS will be given out on Feb. 13.
