- Il Sundance Film Festival 2016, La Kermesse di spicco del cinema indipendente negli Stati Uniti, ideata, coordinata e diretta da Robert Redford, ha chiuso i battenti.
Nel gran numero di film che si sono fatti notare, ha conquistato tutti THE BIRTH OF A NATION dell’attore Nate Parker, qui al suo primo lungometraggio da regista. Il film si è aggiudicato l’Audience Award come pure il Grand Jury Prize per un film drammatico.
